O Holy Night

Till he appear’d and the soul felt its worth.

This beautiful line, from the Christmas carol O Holy Night, speaks to me this season as I reflect on how the birth of Jesus had such an impact, not just on the world as a whole, but on individual lives as well.

Please know that you make an impact on individual lives, including mine and those in my family. I hope you feel, deep in your soul, contentment and joy in knowing your worth in this life.

Love to you, along with a blessed holiday and year ahead,

Marie

  1. Dear Marie
You nailed that one! We had the wonderful opportunity to go to a friend’s house last night and stand around the organ that he salvaged from a church decades ago and had installed in his home. We sang Christmas carols for over an hour, back by our friend’s soulful, artistic play. Numerous people commented on just how remarkably beautiful so many of the traditional Christmas carols are, both musically and lyrically. You highlighted one of the most profound!

    Merry Christmas to you all!

  2. Merry Christmas to you & your entire family Marie! Thank you for being an inspirational part of my life & journey this year! Have fun in PA!

  3. The first time I ever heard O Holy Night was when the movie, Home Alone, came out.  Beautiful!  I love that you blogged about it!

I hope you and your guys are having a blast with your folks.  This year, I am most thankful for new friendships, for those people that understand the excitement and pride of having active and athletic and talented gymnastics sons, but also understand the ups and downs of daily life.

    Thank you, Marie.

    Merry Christmas!!!!!!

    Love, NM
